| Ah, my life...kinabuhi sa dili makasabot.
My life is soooo boring. In fact, it's so boring that the only thing
that's actually exciting is getting that bonus in the Bio quiz
right(salig Micro!XD).
Okay, so hindi man sa kakonte nangyayari sa buhay ko...marami

So, you know my blog, it's actually very old na.I registered February
and started writing, I think, a week after that. So, it's going to be
10 months na pag December 15, wow.
You know, looking at my older posts...grabeh, I kinda noticed
something. Ka-emo ko noon, wow. Yung before vacation, I was actually
talking about love and how I hate it...damn...woo, hots ko naman. Heh,
tapos as time passed by naging mas light ang theme ng blog ko...well,
yung mga kalingawan ko nung internship(Wait, may kalingawan ba?)...then
pag-abot sa school year...nagbalik ko emo, putek...
Just goes to show you how a blog really reflects the person but a word
of notice, people...by just reading my blog, you won't really know me
much...haha..I'm more than emoness, I'm more than love...there are some
things, I can't really write about, yes. I have secrets that even
my parents don't know, and a trusted few know(hehe, wow, grabe).
Ang blog ko, it's become my online and kinda limited diary
pala...haha...marami akong plano sa blog na ito...like my fave
songs...at kung ma-DL ako, I will like celebrate here...and then
pag-graduate, I will tearfully type my acknowlegments, and the ones I
will sorely miss(huhu). Wala akong time magseryoso sa blog ngayon...I
have things to do...like yung late kong P6 na lab..hehe...at least isa
lang.
Things I can tell you right now:
1.It sucks having no cellphone
2.It's nice being a kid again, while watching Enchanted.XD

| So close to that famous happy end
Yeah, I just watched Enchanted...and you know what? I'm going to tell it to you..."Wow"
I decided to get a haircut at NC, and I had spare money left...so I
went and watched Enchanted...I chose to watch it over "One More
Chance"...since, too much of a good thing...leaves a bad taste in your
mouth...so I chose something fresh.
And, you know what? I'm kinda glad I went alone.
Okay, so here we go...the general idea of this movie is really quite simple and unique.
The opening sequences were pretty much a homage to Snow White and the
Seven Dwarfs...minus the Dwarfs...complete with the poisoned
apple...wow, even the hag looks pretty much the same as the hag. Seems
that Princess Giselle is very much modelled after Snow White...from the
forest abode to the animal calls....and Prince Edward, well....he's a
prince, eh?Handsome, brave, and prone to marrying women after one day
of meeting them. Anyways, the opening sequences were pretty
stereotypical of a Disney animation.
The second part(where most of the action is), is pretty stereotypical
of any feel-good movie...basically the fairytale went to hell(where
there are no happy endings)...known to non-fairytale folk as New York
City(nice one). Most of the humor comes(quite obviously) to Giselle's
adjustments to the real world....and also from the interactions between
Prince Edward, Nathaniel and Pip(who had all come to NYC too)...
I think it's kinda interesting how some parts didn't really click...for
one Giselle mysteriously knew what that thing that sucks things is
called(Oh, it's a vacuum) and Nathaniel knows how to use an Italian
accent....I guess Italy isn't that far away from Andalasia. My guess
that goofs like these were intentionally placed for comedic
effect.
The romantic part of the movie, obviously comprises most of the
movie...it's not really a tried and true concept....but for Enchanted,
it worked. The movie presents that ever-present dilemma: Fairy-tale or
reality?Do girls have to wait for that Prince Charming(and when they
see him, should they marry after meeting for one day?)...yes, the movie
made me think...Well, for one...Giselle and Edward don't even know what
a "date" is. That's the major flaw of fairy tales...it's too
perfect...like *poof* instant love....guess I won't read my future
daughter some fairy tales. The climax was when Edward told Robert
"I knew her for one day!". Hah, serves you fairy tale creatures right!
This is the real world, and there are no Prince Charmings, ladies. No
man should present himself as a knight in shining armour...we, guys
just need to be ourselves...and whoever likes us, likes us...if we like
them, then we love them, then marry them...poof...that process takes
years to happen...but that's reality.
Anyways, pretty much most of the film WAS predictable...but it was
supposed to...the movie was pretty well done, and had a pretty simple
plot to work with so they spent more time building upon other parts of
the film.
The acting was pretty top-notch, not really Oscar-worthy, but very
good, nonetheless. Amy Adams was pretty good as Giselle, I guess she
watched too many Snow White replays, since she could've made a pretty
convincing Snow White...and did I mention, she's absolutely beautiful?
Her princess manerisms("Oh, my") were very much convincing too.
Patrick Dempsey wasn't much...but he appeals to the ladies...so they
put him there(He is...McDreamy, right?). James Mardsen gave me a few
laughs...and I liked that the movie didn't put any twist to his
character...Timothy Spall was noteworthy and Susan Sorandon...well, it
wasn't an Oscar performance, but it felt that she did have a very good
time playing the villainous Queen Narissa.
The music was also very well done, although I felt Jon McLaughlin's
song(So Close) was a little out-of place.....and Carrie Underwood's on
the soundtrack(makes for good publicity.XD).
Yeah, this is pretty much one of the better movies this year...Yeah,
I've seen Zodiac...yeah, I've seen Stardust...but watching Enchanted
was really something to write home about. Disney rebounded big here,
this movie could be up there with Toy Story and Lion King....as one of
the better Disney movies. I also liked that this movie attracted more
than the usual child fanfare. I saw pretty much whole families in the
theater, as well as couples and....well, scary-looking guys with their
girlfriends...but the point is...it's a great movie, definitely a
recommendation.

| Raw is Jericho!
Hm...it's been a very long time, since I've written on my blog. Hah,
honestly I kinda forgot about my blog and I got brought back down to
Earth during clubtime when it was said that we're going to have
something like a blog seminar ("Hah?May blog pala ako, no?"). Oh, well.
Not much happened...I think.
So, I'll try as hard as possible:
- Well, for one, the other day was Intramurals. It was very fun.
Actually, all I did during Intrams was...er, either play badminton or
massage my aching limbs at the bleachers. All the games were a pleasure
to watch, especially the badminton mixed doubles championship (Pretty
much an almost even matchup, which the Seniors won...it certainly
wasn't easy).I didn't really watch much of the volleyball games, and
the board games. I was more pumped up for basketball...well, for most
of the time anyways. I don't know if I'm getting better at badminton or
anything but all I know, is that.....Oh, crap...I missed playing it.
Wee, yeah there was Cheerdance too, we won third...ho-hum...no comment
na lang. Stepdance won first...well, they did deserve it...they were
actually pretty good to watch. I was scared stiff for our 2 Sportsdance
competitors...since the Juniors were a pretty good match, actually.
Yet, we won....yeah, self-defense art rocks.
- You might probably know that I love music. Yes, I do...I'm a
little bit of a junkie...I was a junkie since I was in 1st Grade
listening to cheesy pop songs. Woo, good thing I grew up to alternative
rock! Recently, I've been too busy to be my old music junkie self but I
feel I'd want to go back to my old self. I'm actually planning to make
a "Top" songlist again...I kept doing those before...I have new
favorite songs, though...I should probably note that 1/2 of the top 10
were sung by Michelle Branch.
- Speaking of Michelle, I recently just found out that she's
recording a new solo album....FINALLY. I like the Wreckers and all(They
have exceptional voices)...but I prefer Michelle doing it solo.
Yay!Maybe, so I can finally save up and actually buy an album this time.
- Shouldn't our prom partners be announced around this time?
- My hunt to be a DL...well, okay lang...I guess we'll just know at the end, won't we?
- Wow, I haven't played tarung na guitar since...well...I forgot.
Wala talaga akong time...tapos na wala na rin siguro passion ko sa
guitar...ang passion ko ngayon...well,..is the Internet, actually.
- I haven't watched a movie in ages! Yes, I say that all the
time...but it is true, y'know. I probably won't see "Beowulf" and "One
More Chance"(Certainly, did gain a cult following, eh?I'll try to catch
the flick). And as weird as it might sound, I wanna watch
"Enchanted"...it's a pretty interesting flick. Yeah, I read the
synopsis....I don't trust movie previews(*cough* Star *cough* Dust
*cough*).
- I had usually watched movies every time I would go out...but I'm
too broke...and I don't usually go out anyways(except for special
occasions). I'm a seasonal shopper...I only shop when I HAVE to...yes,
at least...maka-relate ako sa gusto ng aking napili sa Christmas party.
- And, oh, yeah....Christmas...tapos Senior Year...I feel like
giving....but only to those I know I owe a gift to. Take note, ako lang
puwede mag-decide kung sino bigyan..hah?Walang hingi-hingi...yeah. I'm
going to save a lot...and I'm probably going to charge money for those
sandwhiches, guys.
- House! Wow, Season Four is currently ongoing...I think I'm going
to wait until the season ends before I buy the DVD...damn, I actually
have the first 3 epis of the season...wee, Cameron NEEDS to drop the
blonde hair...and Chase, yeah..I kinda like him that way, too.
Foreman's done pretty good for himself...And, yes, House is still
misanthropic, the champion of insults and wisecracks("If your sex
organs dangle, you're the Confederates. If your sex organs are
aesthetically pleasing, you're the Yanks"...hm, guess that other bitch
doctor has sex organs that dangle...Haha). Will someone give me a
complete Season 1 and 2 DVD?Please, I will never forget that act of
random kindness.
- And, while you're on that...throw in a Heroes DVD(Season 1 and 2,
din)...Prison Break, Lost, Grey's Anatomy and Dexter...yeah!Thanks, so
much....yeah, like someone's going to get me!As for my music demands, I
want a Red Jumpsuit Apparatus CD, yeah...haha!
- Neh, I'm just kidding...I'll find those myself...what I really
want for Christmas is actually...well, I'm actually not sure...just a
good fiction book...anything!Nicholas Sparks?Anne Rice?Paulo Coehlo?C.S
Lewis?Yeah, yun lang....if you're the one I picked for Christmas,
anyways...I forget...it was a DoTa name...K'el Thuzzad?
- And...as the first three words in this entry might suggest, Raw
is finally Jericho again...and for those of you who still don't get it.
The Man of a A Thousand....and FOUR holds, the Sexy Beast, The
Ayatollah of Rock N' ROLLAH, Y2J...Chris Jericho has come back to
wrestling. It's a big deal to me, actually since...I've grown mostly
bored with WWE for a while...and now, I'm going to watch it
everytime...since Jericho is back.Chris Jericho came back to save_us,
yes: From Randy Orton's ("boring personality, robotic voice and
subscription to Blueball magazine!"). All my other faves are somewhere.
Benoit's gone, Angle's rotting in TNA, Homicide had just left Ring of
Honor, Punk's doing pretty good and Michaels and Triple H have turned
face(Don't like them that way).Chris Jericho is my only reason to waste
two hours on Raw now.
- Hm...wait...yes, did I mention that I'm the only one who
understood number 13?If you actually understood, I congratulate
you...we can actually talk about that.
- I also happen to have 3 lab reports to do...wee....see ya next time!
